About Warningcamp Weather

I setup this site following a Digital Weather station I acquired recently. Now, I generally like to make as much possible use out of anything, and, preferable, in such a way that can/does benefit many people, and so this site was born. The weather station itself had four major parts to it, -1 Anemometer which is sited approximately 4meters from ground level, and continually monitors the wind direction, and speed. -1 Rain meter, which is setup to continually monitor and report hourly, 24 hourly, and total rain fall. (The total rainfall meter is reset each week) -1 Sensor unit which measures outdoor temperature wind speed, and dew. point. -1 Unit which collects all the individual readings, and also, measures the pressure, and uses all this data to predict what the weather is going to be like for the next 24 hours. -The computer system then collects this data, publishes it to this website, keeps a past 1000-record log of past weather readings, and monitors it for reason for caution. There are several alarms setup for variables such as High Wind speed, Frost alert, High rainfall, and storms. If any of these are identified, the system automatically publishes a warning onto the website. We are now looking to evolve and expand this site in any way which may benefit other people. For example two things we are thinking about is a user-controllable weather webcam looking out over Arundel, and paid-for email alerts on weather changes.
